When demand for hangars exceed supply, the Springfield-Robertson County Joint Airport Board may consider new hangar construction. For this reason, the Airport Manager is required by the FAA to maintain a hangar waiting list, a list of eligible parties interested in leasing a hangar. This policy is designed to provide simple, fair and transparent processes for placement on the hangar waiting list, ongoing assessment and quantification of hangar demand and transactions of a hangar offer, provided an existing one becomes available. It is not applicable to commercial activities.
