SRCA's DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE SIGN IS SPOT ON

SPRINGFIELD, TN-11/27/2020  The leadership team at SRCA was at it again, this time making it easier for pilots and visitors to know exactly where to turn into the airport. After prepping the ground with concrete footings, the team positioned SRCA's newest roadway sign into place. Although a fraction of the Hwy 41 sign, SRCA's Airport Road sign is crystal clear to see by any passerby. Drive by and see!

SRCA RAMP GETS NEW SECURITY LIGHTING

SPRINGFIELD, TN-10/20/2020  On the heels of the Airport's most successful T-Hangar LED Lighting Program, management has moved forward fast and replaced 14 of its standard ramp area pole lights with state-of-the-art LED housings and bulbs. This change illuminates our ramp like never before, allowing SRCA users to see more clearly and perform their operations more safely.  Additional benefits of this project includes significant reductions in glare, light pollution and power usage, as well as longer bulb service-life.

SPRINGFIELD, TN-9/25/2020  Airport management prioritizes the safety, security and protection of all who use the airfield. A big step in that effort is improving the operational reliability of our gates. Such was achieved after staff installed new north and south gate motors. Along with these came a new key card system which added an additional layer of security.

SRCA GETS A NEW FUELING PAY-AT-PUMP ATM

SPRINGFIELD, TN-8/26/2020  SRCA management installed a new, state of the art technology pay-at-pump ATM today, replacing its  decades-plus old ATM. The QTPod (petroleum on demand) M4000 fueling terminal utilizes internet communications for credit card processing, which significantly increases reliability and speeds up the fueling process for our customers compared to legacy systems reliant on outdated dial-up modem technology. In 2018, the magazine Ground Support Worldwide recognized the QTPod's M4000 as its product leader of the year.

SRCA GETS A NEW HWY 41 ROADWAY SIGN

SPRINGFIELD, TN-6/24/2020  In step with our new terminal and refreshing additions to the airfield, we've put up a new roadway sign  that promotes our new logo.  The sign also sports our website address. You can find this sign on the south side of Hwy 41.

NEW SAFETY LINES EMPLACED ON AIRFIELD

SPRINGFIELD, TN-6/22/2020  Highly reflective white, yellow and red safety lines have been painted across the ramp area and out in front of the terminal to inform and guide pilots and patrons alike.  Since safety is our #1 priority, these new lines serve as a visible commitment to that goal.

NEW TIE-DOWNS ADDED TO AIRFIELD

SPRINGFIELD, TN-6/18/2020  Five (5) new aircraft tie-down spaces have been added to the Springfield-Robertson County Airport tarmac. These much needed spaces are available for both tenant rental and transient aircraft.

JOINT AIRPORT BOARD MEETING GOES ZOOM!

SPRINGFIELD, TN-5/18/2020  The Springfield-Robertson County Joint Airport Board Chairman, Hawk Ruth announced that this month's board meeting will be available for participation using ZOOM.  The board chair decided this in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing as much as possible. NON-COMMERCIAL T-HANGAR LED LIGHTING PROGRAM

SPRINGFIELD, TN-3/1/2020  The Springfield-Robertson County Joint Airport Board has initiated an LED lighting incentive program to non-commercial T-hangar tenants. This time-limited program provides tenants the opportunity to replace their current hangar lights with 12 LED light bars. Click here for more details.

POSTPONED: OPEN HOUSE & RIBBON CUTTING EVENTS

SPRINGFIELD, TN-3/15/2020  The Springfield-Robertson County Joint Airport Board Chairman, Hawk Ruth announced today the new Airport Terminal's Open House and Ribbon Cutting ceremony set for March 27th is postponed until further notice. This decision was made, albeit regretfully, due to rising concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and parallel actions taken by other public, private, state and national agencies in efforts to prevent its spread. A new date has not been set. The Board regrets any inconvenience this decision may cause.

RIBBON CUTTING & OPEN HOUSE SET FOR MARCH 27

SPRINGFIELD, TN-1/8/2020  The Springfield-Robertson County Joint Airport Board has settled on the date for hosting its new terminal's RIBBON CUTTING and OPEN HOUSE. The events will take place on March 27th from 2pm to 4pm.  Everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate this pivotal new city and county landmark.  Keep an eye here for further details. AIRPORT TERMINAL NEARING COMPLETION

SPRINGFIELD, TN-11/30/2019  Springfield-Robertson County Airport's new $3M terminal is nearing completion after more than a year under construction.  According to Airport Manager, Jamie Jones the new terminal is provisionally 'open for business' serving based-tenants and transient pilots and aviation enthusiasts from all over the city, county and beyond.

LOOK WHO'S GOT CURB APPEAL!

SPRINGFIELD, TN-11/19/2019  The new terminal at Springfield-Robertson County Airport now has curb appeal!  Thanks to Kimberly Beuscher and her incredible staff from Glenwood Professional Landscaping in Clarksville, the dingy color of construction has been transformed into a green scape with weather hardy bushes, perennial plants and so much more.
